Hello There
Hi! My name is Kim Manes. I’m the founder of Wordy Birds, LLC, an education company dedicated to fostering a love of reading in learners of all ages. I was an early elementary teacher for 10 years, have my master’s degree in early childhood education, and am an Orton Gillingham certified teacher.
I love using the multi modal framework of learning (combining auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning) to form new and lasting literacy connections for my students. I have a passion for partnering with parents and caregivers as well- helping you to feel supported and empowered to be teacher-leaders for your students at home. Let’s get to work!
